At the “Stati Generali del Digitale nella Cultura”  

We are pleased to announce that our project coordinator, Marco Medici, will represent 3D-4CH at the upcoming Stati generali del Digitale nella Cultura: Connettere patrimoni, costruire futuri, taking place in Rome next week on 10–11 December 2025.

Held at the Auditorium of the Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale di Roma, this national forum, which is organized by the Italian Ministry of Culture and the Central Institute for the Digitization of Cultural Heritage (Digital Library), brings together public institutions, universities, cultural and creative industries, and the developer community to jointly shape the future of digital cultural heritage in Italy.

The event aims to:

• Build a shared strategy for Italy’s digital cultural transition, aligned with PNRR and European innovation policies

• Connect expertise and best practices across ministries, universities, cultural enterprises, and technology professionals

• Promote advanced digital technologies (including AI, AR, 3D digitization, interoperable platforms) for preservation, access, and public engagement

• Encourage innovation through hands-on labs and a dedicated hackathon at Museo Nazionale Romano – Palazzo Massimo

• Strengthen the national digital ecosystem, including pioneering initiatives such as Ecomic

This two-day event marks an important milestone toward a shared, sustainable vision for the digital transformation of culture, where technology and heritage come together to generate public value, knowledge, and innovation.
