The 3D-4CH consortium came together online today for a three-hour meeting to catch up on recent developments, review progress across the project, and align on the steps ahead.
Our project manager, Marco Medici, opened the session with a timeline that set the tone for the day. Looking back at the past six months, it was encouraging to see how much has been accomplished as a team: from our participation at Digital Heritage 2025 in Siena and the Europeana Conference in Warsaw, to the launch of two important surveys, and the successful organization of our online stakeholder panel and advisory board meeting. Another key milestone has been the submission of five deliverables in July, which marks a significant step forward in the project’s journey.
Following this overview, we turned to the agenda of the day: each work package presented their latest updates, ongoing activities, and achievements. This exchange offered valuable insights into the progress made within the different strands of the project, as well as opportunities to reflect on cross-cutting themes. After a much-needed short coffee break, we continued with a series of internal project reviews where we discussed progress in detail and identified areas where further coordination will be useful.
The meeting wrapped up with a focus on our upcoming Winter School, which is shaping up to be one of the next highlights of the project. The consortium discussed practical preparations and set out the next steps and action points to ensure the event will be a success.
Our Winter School is scheduled for January 2026 in Brussels, and we will soon be sharing more information on how you can take part. In the meantime, you can already find some first details here.
