Geomagic Design X

Geomagic Design X is a specialised scan-to-CAD software designed for converting 3D scan data into accurate, editable, and parametric CAD models. It integrates point cloud and mesh processing with feature-based and history-driven modelling, enabling users to reconstruct design-intent geometry rather than only surface approximations. The software supports hybrid workflows that combine mesh editing, automatic and guided surface extraction, and precise NURBS and solid modelling within a CAD-like environment.
