Curriculum: 3D digitisation of cultural heritage

The 3D-4CH Curriculum is a framework for developing knowledge and skills in the lifecycle of a 3D project from policy to data management and reuse.

Description

The 3D-4CH Curriculum provides a framework for developing the knowledge and skills required to plan, implement, manage, and reuse high quality 3D digital assets in the cultural heritage sector. It covers the complete lifecycle of a 3D project, from policy and strategic planning, through project management, data capture, processing, visualisation, access, re-use, data management and long-term preservation.

The curriculum is flexible to support different organisational contexts, levels of experience and training requirements. It has the potential to be used by training providers in formal education, professional development, workshops and capacity-building initiatives. For learners it offers a way of choosing subject areas in which to build up their knowledge and skills.
