We are delighted to announce our LinkedIn launch of the 3D-4CH Online Competence Centre for 3D in Cultural Heritage, a pioneering project co-funded by the European Union. This milestone marks a new chapter in the way we support, train, and empower cultural heritage professionals across Europe and beyond.
The 3D-4CH project is dedicated to transforming how we preserve, digitize, and share our shared cultural legacy. Through a powerful combination of 3D digitisation, AI-driven enrichment, and extended reality (XR) technologies, the Competence Centre will serve as a hub for innovation, learning, and cross-border collaboration.
One of our key commitments is to ensure sustainability, inclusivity, and a particular focus on the preservation of Ukrainian heritage. We believe in building bridges across cultures and disciplines—bringing together institutions, researchers, and creatives to shape a future where cultural heritage is accessible, resilient, and future-proof.
To mark this important step, we’re sharing a special introductory video from our launch meeting in Trento.
The video offers a behind-the-scenes look into the project’s vision, activities, and the passionate community driving it forward:
